| Police in collaboration with school students organises traffic awareness programme in Kulgam | |
Srinagar, April 15 (Scoop News)-In a proactive initiative to promote road safety and responsible driving, police in Kulgam organized a traffic awareness program at various locations of Qazigund, Kulgam. The event witnessed active participation from students of Shamstar International School Qazigund who played a vital role in spreading awareness among the general public.
The program was held under the supervision of SDPO Qazigund along with SHO police station Qazigund, included awareness programme ceremony at the said institution, and interactive sessions on traffic rules and regulations. Students, accompanied by their teachers and local traffic/police personnel, engaged with commuters and emphasized the importance of wearing helmets, using seat belts, and avoiding mobile phone usage while driving.
The initiative aims to instill a culture of road safety among youth and create a sense of shared responsibility towards safer roads.
