| Students visit Police Station Handwara for educational tour | |
Srinagar, April 15 (Scoop News)-A group of students from Monarch Public School, Handwara, visited Police Station Handwara as part of an educational and interactive program aimed at fostering awareness and understanding of police functioning among young minds.
During the visit, students were given a guided tour of the police station, where they learned about the internal operations, including the Crime and Criminal Tracking Network and Systems (CCTNS), record-keeping practices, lock-up facilities, and the procedures involved in criminal investigations.
The initiative is part of the police department’s broader efforts to strengthen community-police relations and to educate the youth about the role and responsibilities of law enforcement agencies.
