| SDM Zanskar Reviews Preparations for Republic Day Celebrations | |
Zanskar, January 22 (Scoop News)-Sub Divisional Magistrate Zanskar Omkar Rajendra Gundage (IAS) today chaired a meeting to review the arrangements for the forthcoming Republic Day celebrations in Zanskar.
The meeting was attended by Tehsildar Zanskar Mohd. Hassan, SHO Zanskar Tsewang Norboo, BDO Zanskar, Executive Engineer R&B, Executive Engineer, PHE, BMO Zanskar, Forest officer Zanskar, Principal Hr.SS padum, ZEPO Zanskar, ZPEO Zanskar, Account Officer ZDA, CDPO Zanskar, TSO Zanskar, Tourism Officer Zanskar, ATO Zanskar, JE Mechanical and other departments incharge Officials.
The SDM conducted a detailed review of all necessary arrangements, including seating arrangements, contingents, venue decoration, cultural troupes and performances, refreshments, at-home celebrations and other related preparations.
Expressing satisfaction with the arrangements made so far, the SDM directed the concerned officials to expedite the remaining works to ensure smooth and hassle-free celebrations of the event. Specific instructions were given keeping in view the prediction of snowfall before and on 26th January.
At last, the SDM also reviewed all the departments and directed all the HODs to strictly monitor the day-to-day working of their departments.
