| Five-day teacher training workshop on FLN Lesson Planning concluded | |
February 23 (Scoop News)-leh The five-day teacher training workshop on FLN Lesson Planning and Jolly Phonics successfully concluded today on 21st February, at DIET Leh. The programme was organised in collaboration with the 17,000 Feet Foundation and Jolly Phonics UK with DIET Leh.
The training sessions were conducted by expert resource persons Mrs. Archana Mahindra and Mr. Shainaz Jussa (Jolly Phonics Trainer) UK. Both the resource persons worked with great dedication and took painstaking efforts throughout the training, providing practical demonstrations, classroom strategies and interactive activities to strengthen foundational literacy and numeracy teaching skills and Phonetics among the teachers.
The Joint Director, School Education Department UT Ladakh graced the valedictory function as the Chief Guest. The Principal DIET Leh warmly welcomed the Chief Guest and appreciated the resource persons for their tireless commitment and quality training delivered to the participants.
While addressing the gathering, the Chief Guest assured that his office would extend full support in addressing all service-related matters of teachers and encouraged them to implement the newly learned pedagogical practices in their respective schools for the benefit of students.
