| Ashok Koul calls for greater role of BJP Cells, Corporators in awareness of welfare schemes | | 
Srinagar, April 15 (Scoop News)-Ashok Koul, General Secretary (Organization) of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Jammu & Kashmir, chaired two organizational meetings at Srinagar, engaging with the Incharge and Co-Incharges of ULB, Panchayat, and Cooperative Cells, as well as former corporators of the Srinagar Municipal Corporation.
J&K BJP General Secretary Anwar Khan, Secretaries Arif Raja and Mudasir Wani, along with BJP All Cells Co-Incharge Billal Parray, State Co-Media Incharge Adv. Sajid Yousuf Shah and other senior functionaries were present in the meetings.
Ashok Koul, while addressing the meetings, emphasized the crucial and distinct roles played by party cells and former corporators in strengthening the party at the grassroots level. He highlighted that while cells serve as specialized platforms to reach specific sections of society, former corporators possess valuable administrative experience and direct public connect, which must be effectively utilized for organizational growth.
Koul asked the participants to intensify party activities among the masses and ensure consistent engagement with the public. He stressed the need to proactively reach out to people, listen to their concerns, and act as a bridge between the government and the citizens. He further directed them to create widespread awareness about the welfare schemes and developmental initiatives launched under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, ensuring that the benefits reach every eligible individual.
Reiterating the party’s commitment, Koul said that BJP is steadfastly working towards the holistic development of Jammu & Kashmir, focusing on progress, transparency, and good governance. He called upon party leaders to effectively communicate the vision and policies of the BJP and Narendra Modi to the grassroots, thereby strengthening public trust.
Anwar Khan, speaking on the occasion, emphasized the importance of coordinated efforts among various party units to achieve organizational objectives and expand outreach. He called for a collective resolve to further energize party cadres and enhance BJP’s presence across all sections of society in Jammu & Kashmir.
Billal Parray highlighted the need for active participation of all cells in public-centric programmes and stressed strengthening their role in connecting with different segments of society.
