Jammu, June 11 (Scoop News)- JKPCC Chief Spokesperson & Former MLC Mr. Ravinder Sharma has expressed strong resentment over the dily-delaying of the Govt. regarding the sufferings of SCARD Bank Consumers, who are running from pillar to posts for getting back their hard earned deposits in the bank.
The poor depositors especially farmers held series of protests in Jammu/Srinagar and different parts against the bank for the default & fraud with them but their hard earned money is not being returned. There is serious fraud and lapses on the part of the Bank Management for which Govt. should have appointed an independent enquiry committee but unfortunately the liquidator has not been appointed.
The poor customers/depositors especially farmers are protesting on roads since March 31, 2025 but their money has not been arranged by the Govt, which is duty bound being the major partner in the bank and management being controlled by the Cooperative Department.
Around 200 crores is due to the depositors who are facing great hardships during life threatening diseases, marriage & studies of their children.
The Govt. should come to their rescue immediately and without further delay, he added
