| JKPCC supports Jammu Bar protest over attempt to arrest lawyer | |
Jammu, July 05 (Scoop News)-JKPCC has supported Jammu and Kashmir High Court Bar Association Jammu over the issue of the attempt to illegally arrest an advocate from Court premises in Jammu.
In a statement JKPCC Chief Spokesperson Mr Ravinder Sharma has expressed strong resentment over the alleged attempt by Srinagar police to arrest advocate Ranjodh Singh in Court premises in Jammu in bailable offences.
He termed it an assault on the Independence & dignity of legal profession and resorting to intimidation , which is condemnable.
The party extended full support to the Bar Association Jammu and asked the police to follow law and desist from any intimidating exercise against advocate Ranjodh Singh.
