J&K Police tightens noose around repeat drug offenders in Anantnag
PIT-NDPS warrants executed against Two Peddlers
Srinagar, August 04 (Scoop News)-Continuing its aggressive crackdown on the narcotics network, J&K Police has booked two habitual drug offenders under the PIT-NDPS Act in Anantnag.

The accused persons namely Javid Ahmed Dar son of Mohd Yousaf Dar resident of kheribal Mattan and Suhail Ahmed Bhat son of Ghulam Qadir Bhat, resident of Krangsoo Mattan have a history of involvement in multiple NDPS cases and have been placed under preventive detention following the execution of PIT-NDPS detention warrants against them.

The action is part of J&K Police’s sustained strategy to identify, isolate and dismantle the network of repeat drug offenders who pose a serious threat to society, particularly the younger generation. Police will continue its relentless campaign against the drug menace, targeting the entire chain of narcotics supply and ensuring that habitual offenders are brought under the ambit of law.
