Kupwara, August 04 (Scoop News)-J&K BJP General Secretary (Organization) Ashok Koul addressed an organizational review meeting at TRC Handwara and later addressed a massive Public Convention at Langate Park, Kupwara.
J&K BJP Secretary Mudasir Wani, Kupwara Prabhari Adv. Sajid Yousuf Shah, District President Kupwara Syed Rafiq Shah, senior party leaders, office bearers, and workers were present.
During the programmes, he reviewed the party's organizational preparedness, finalized strategies for upcoming campaigns, and called upon party workers to further strengthen the BJP at the grassroots while taking the Modi government's development agenda and welfare initiatives to every household.
Ashok Koul, while reviewing the organizational activities of the Langate Constituency, emphasized that a strong and disciplined organization is the BJP's biggest strength. He directed party functionaries to reinforce booth-level committees, maintain regular contact with the public, and ensure the successful implementation of all upcoming party programmes with dedication and efficiency.
Ashok Koul said the BJP does not believe in politics confined to election seasons but remains among the people throughout the year, working to resolve their issues and ensuring that the benefits of government schemes reach every deserving citizen. He asserted that while certain political parties have survived by exploiting emotions and creating divisions, the BJP has earned the people's trust through development, transparency, and accountable governance.
Speaking at the Public Convention, Ashok Koul said that Jammu & Kashmir has entered a new phase of development under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, with unprecedented improvements in infrastructure, connectivity, education, healthcare, tourism, and public welfare. He said the people are now judging governments on performance rather than slogans and are increasingly supporting politics centered on development and good governance.
Ashok Koul, taking a sharp swipe at the opposition, said that those who ruled Jammu & Kashmir for decades are now uncomfortable with the pace of development because they have lost the ability to mislead the people. "The era of empty promises and dynastic politics is over. The people want stability, development, employment, and honest governance, and BJP is committed to delivering exactly that," he said.
Calling upon party workers to intensify public outreach, Ashok Koul asked them to remain in constant touch with the people, address their concerns promptly, and expose the misinformation spread by vested political interests. He appealed to every worker to strengthen the organization at every booth, actively participate in the upcoming programmes, and carry forward the BJP's vision of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas to every corner of Langate and Jammu & Kashmir.
