Zanskar, , August 11 (Scoop News)-Government Degree College Zanskar organised an interactive session on entrepreneurship with the Alsisar Impact Team under the supervision of Dr. Amjad Ali Abbasi, Principal, Government Degree College Zanskar.
The programme aimed to foster entrepreneurial awareness among students and provide them with practical exposure to enterprise development, innovation, and self-employment opportunities.
The session featured founders of emerging brands from Ladakh, Sikkim, and Mumbai, including Nima Goos Goos, Ladakh Bites, Ladakh Basket, Siachen Naturals, Crafted Fibers, Agapi, Bayul Creations, and Palmo Handicrafts. The founders shared their entrepreneurial journeys, challenges, and experiences of transforming ideas and local resources into viable ventures. They encouraged students to develop an innovative mindset, identify opportunities within their communities, and consider entrepreneurship as a meaningful career pathway.
The Alsisar Impact Team also engaged with students through an interactive exchange on identifying feasible business ideas, understanding local opportunities, and developing sustainable enterprises. The programme provided students with valuable experiential exposure and underscored the role of entrepreneurship in promoting innovation, self-reliance, employment generation, and local economic development.
