| DC Sham Unfurls National Flag at DC Office, Khaltsi on 80th Independence Day | |
Khaltsi, August 15 (KIP)- The Deputy Commissioner, Sham, Smt. Kunzes Angmo (JKAS), today unfurled the National Flag at the DC Office, Khaltsi, as part of the celebrations of the 80th Independence Day.
The National Flag was unfurled by the Deputy Commissioner in the presence of SDM, Khaltsi, Mohd Sharif; SHO, Khaltsi, Tsewang Norboo; Naib Tehsildar, Khaltsi, Attahullah, along with subordinate staff of the concerned offices.
On the occasion, a contingent of Ladakh Police, Khaltsi, presented the Guard of Honour to the Deputy Commissioner.
The programme commenced with the rendition of the National Song and the National Anthem.
The celebration marked the spirit of freedom, unity and dedication towards the nation.
