Likir, August 31 (Scoop News)- A "Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan" Campaign was conducted today at Government High School Liker to raise awareness among students and the local community about the harmful effects of drug abuse and substance addiction.
During the campaign, His Holiness Phalga Rinpochey delivered an insightful awareness session on drug abuse, highlighting its serious physical, mental and social consequences. He emphasized the importance of maintaining discipline, making responsible choices and collectively working towards building a healthy and drug-free society.
The programme was attended by the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Liker, Gurmat Namgial, School Teachers, Villagers and Students.
The participants were sensitized about the adverse impact of drug abuse and the need for active involvement of students, parents, teachers and the community in preventing substance abuse and promoting a Nasha Mukt society.
