| FM Tadka Srinagar, HDFC Bank Zakura & Ingenious School Organise Drug Awareness Programme | |
Srinagar, September 01 (Scoop News)-An impactful Drug Awareness Programme was organised at Ingenious School, Malla Bagh, Srinagar, under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan, in collaboration with FM Tadka Srinagar and HDFC Bank, Zakura Branch, with the aim of sensitising students about the devastating effects of drug abuse and encouraging them to contribute towards building a drug-free society.The programme was hosted by popular FM Tadka RJ Mursal, who engaged the students and participants throughout the event and highlighted the importance of collective efforts in combating the growing menace of substance abuse.
Prominent social worker Syed Aijaz Kashani was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Addressing the gathering, Kashani spoke about the serious social, physical and emotional consequences of drug addiction. He urged students to stay away from drugs, focus on education and positive activities, and become ambassadors of the message of a Nasha Mukt Kashmir and Nasha Mukt Bharat.
“Students are the future of our society, and awareness at the school level can play a vital role in preventing drug abuse,” Kashani said.
The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from students through various awareness-based activities, including a Naat Competition, Drug Awareness Speech Competition and Painting Competition. The competitions provided students with a creative platform to express their thoughts and messages against drug abuse. Mukhtar Ahmad, Principal of Ingenious School, expressed his gratitude to all the guests, participants, organisers, teachers and students for making the programme a success.
