| JKCA holds AGM in Jammu after a decade; Irani cup arrangements discussed | | 
Jammu, September 27 (Scoop News)-The Jammu & Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) today held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Jammu after a gap of nearly 10 years, with 15 authorised club members participating in the meeting. The meeting was attended by JKCA office bearers & members of the Association. The AGM highlighted the significant achievements of J&K cricket in recent times, including the historic Ranji Trophy triumph, the selection of J&K players for Team India, and the growing representation of J&K cricketers in the Indian Premier League (IPL). The members also discussed preparations and arrangements for the upcoming Irani Cup, scheduled to be played at SK Stadium, Srinagar, from October 1 to 5, 2026. The Association is making all necessary arrangements to ensure the successful conduct of the prestigious Irani cup. The meeting stressed the importance of unity, collective responsibility and a positive approach among all stakeholders to further strengthen and promote cricket across J&K. The members expressed their commitment to working together to build on the recent achievements and take J&K cricket to greater heights. /-
