| Hongkong Tourist injured in road mishap | | Lady commits suicide | 
Srinagar, April 07 (Scoop News) – A Maruti Zen bearing registration number JKE/2272 hit and injured one foreign tourist Chuwing Cheong son of Chautaz resident of Hongkong at gagribal road Nehrupark near Sultana Cottage falling under Police Station Ram Munshi Bagh.
Police said that injured was shifted to SKIMS Soura. Driver along with vehicle fled away from the spot. Police has registered a case and investigation is on.
Meanwhile A lady ( name with held) resident of Dadkhanda Khushsoor Karnataka at present Quail Airport Pulwama reportedly committed suicide by hanging herself at her residential quarter located inside Airport, under jurisdiction of Police Station Pulwama. The husband of deceased lady is an employee of Air Force. Proceedings under section 174 criminal penal code have been initiated. Dead body was handed over to NOK’s for last rites.
A residential house suffered extensive damages in a fire incident at Anantnang.
The incident happened when fire broke out in the residential house of Mohammad Shafi Malik son of Abdul Majeed resident of Buchoo falling under Police Station Kokernag, resulting in extensive damage to the said house. Case of fire is being ascertained.
Fortunately, no one was hurt in the incident
