Panun Kashmir will fight against any injustice

Jammu, October 12 (Scoop News):-Panun Kashmir Convener Dr Agnishekhar today said that Panun Kashmir will support with its might the just cause of all the sections of the displaced community including doctors and other para-medical staff in their fight against any injustice besides protecting their rights if violated by the government willfully. He further apprised the delegation about the real intent behind the sequence of events that include the formation of government -appointed Apex Committee of Kashmiri Pandits for the implementation of Return and Rehabilitation plan of the government , frequent visits of some self-styled representatives of Kashmiri Pandits to Kashmir for seeking blessings and approval from all the anti- India separatist leaders like Syed Ali Shah Gelani , Mirwaiz Omar Farooq, Shabir Shah and Yasin malik etc. for the rehabilitation of Kashmiri Pandits in the valley.

expressed his surprise and anguish over the Relief Organization Authorities' un-notified decision of stopping the disbursement of cash -relief to those relief-holder families whose son or daughter has been employed under the much-hyped PM's package. Terming this development as yet another instrument of causing deliberate harassment to the poor displaced families who barely make their two ends meet on the meager cash- relief of Rs 1250/-per head per family. Govt should have excluded newly recruited member of the family from the ration card and allowed the due cash relief to the rest of the dependent family .Dr Agnishekhar assured a visiting 12 member delegation of the relief-holders from Jagti , Nagrota,Purkhooand other non-camp areas of his help in highlighting the issue for its redressal .

Panun Kashmir convener has urged the Relief & Rehabilitation minister Raman Bhalla to look into the matter and take immediate necessary measures so that the entitlement to cash-relief of the parents and other dependent members of these newly employed youths is not violated any more. Dr Agnishekhar told the delegation that it's an irony that instead of paying genuine head to the continued demand of enhancement in cash-relief of the displaced families, govt has been pursuing the policy of neglect and apathy towards the exiled KP community.

He condemned the state government for not taking the note of struggling displaced Kashmiri Pandit relief holders who have been at dharna at Relief Commissioner's office and Jagti township for nearly one and half month. Panun Kashmir will support alf month demanding over-due enhancement in their cash relief, Dr Agnishaker said.

He cautioned the the exiled KPs to remain vigilant against the machination of the vested interests both from within and outside who seemingly intend to sell-out the geo-political aspirations and interests of the community,Dr Agnishekhar made a fervent appeal to the displaced community not to allow the vested interests to mislead them into believing that seeking separate Homeland with UT status for over 7 lac displaced Kashmir Pandits is a futile exercise. There is no other alternative for KPs if they have to live in Kashmir and survive as a distinct religeo-ethnic entity.
Those present in the meeting with the visiting delegation were Sanjay Dattatrey,Omkar Nath Bhatt, Rakesh Peer,Ram krishan kaul, Ashutosh Kaul, Umesh Kaul,Rajajee Tiku and many others.
