| CGM NABARD & CEC LAHDC discussed developmental projects in Leh | | Leh (Ladakh), October 19(Scoop News)- The Chief General Manager, NABARD Jammu, S.C Rabra today met with Chief Executive Councilor, LAHDC, Leh Rigzin Spalbar at Council Secretariat, Leh and discussed in detail about various developmental projects taken up with NABARD in the district. They also deliberated upon the latest position of three major bridge projects in Nubra valley for which NABARD has recently given formal approval to the revised estimated cost of these bridges.
The CEC Rigzin Spalbar thanked CGM, NABARD, S. C Rabra for showing personal interest in getting these projects cleared from his head office. CEC explained Rabra about the various infrastructural requirements in Leh Distt and made special request to take few other sectors under NABARD like in Animal and Agriculture sectors and Marketing Development besides focusing on roads and bridges. CEC told Rabra that Council is running only the important projects under NABARD and stressed that even in coming times NABARD must give due consideration to proposed projects from the district.
The CGM assured Spalbar that NABARD will give full cooperation and support in undertaking the much needed developmental works in Leh Distt.
The Superintending Engineer, PWD, Leh Alok Mangee and AEE R&B Tsering Angchuk were also present in the meeting.
