| People of Zanskar assures full co-operation to Government | |
Kargil,October 28(Scoop News)- Today a high level team comprising of cabinet minister from Ladakh , Rigzin Jora, MoS Home ,Nasir Aslam Wani, Director General of Police Sh. Ashok Prasad, IPS visited Zanskar area of Ladakh. They held an extensive tour of the area, interacted with the representatives of both Buddhist and Muslim communities.MLA Zanskar Sh. Feroz Khan, Executive councillor Zanskar affairs Sh. Phunchok Tashi,SDM Zanskar and Tehsidar Zanskar too were present in the meeting.
The representatives from both the communities put forth various issues to which members of the team assured timely redressal.
They urged both the communities to maintain peace and harmony in the region. Both the communities assured that they will extend full co-operation in this regard. Before flying to Zanskar the team held a meeting with District Administration at Kargil. Besides other Chief Executive Councillor Shri Kacho Ahmad Ali Khan, Deputy Commissioner Kargil Shri M Raju and District Superintendent of Police Shri Javed Iqbal were also present in the meeting.
