1 die, 9 injured in road mishaps in Kashmir
2 consume poison in Budgam

Srinagar, October 29(Scoop News) - A Maruti Car bearing registration number JK01J/4365 hit and injured a lady Ashi aged 65 years wife of Ghulam Ahmad Wani resident of Magraypora at Magraypora, Budgam, jurisdiction of police station Chadoora. The injured was shifted to SKIMS Soura, Srinagar for treatment, where she succumbed to her injuries. A case has been registered in this regard.
A Santro Car bearing registration number JK18/4953 hit and injured a pedestrian Mst. Shamala aged 61 years widow of Late Ghulam Mohammad Wani resident of Amnoo Kulgam at Kulgam. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
A Motorcycle bearing registration number JK01/1143 collided with a Tata 407 Matador bearing registration number JK01E/7684 near Bus Stop Saida Kadal, Srinagar, resulting in injuries to Motorcyclist, pillion mate and a pedestrian. Injured were shifted to hospital for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
A LP Mazda bearing registration number JK05/5041 hit and injured a person Abdul Khaliq age 45 years, son of Abdul Rehman resident of Gulab Baghi, Poshker, Budgam, jurisdiction of police station Magam. Injured has been shifted to hospital for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard. A Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK05C/5941 collided with Alto Car bearing registration number JK01Q/4003 near Dagger Canteen, Baramulla, jurisdiction of police station Baramulla, resulting in injuries to Alto driver and Alto passengers. The injured were shifted to hospital for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
A Wagon-R bearing registration number JK05B/9331 hit Motorcycle at National Highway Palhallan, Baramulla, jurisdiction of police station Pattan, resulting injuries to Motorcyclist Mehfooz Ahmed Wani son of Mohammad Maqbool resident HMT Mustafabad, Srinagar and one Sameer ahmad Ganie son of Ghulam Mohammad resident of Dolatpora. Both the injured were shifted to SKIMS, Soura, Srinagar for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.


6 Structures damaged in fire

Fire broke out at Sheikh Mohalla Darpora, Kupwara due to which firewood sheds of Mohammad Sarwar sheikh and Mohammad Maqbool Sheikh sons of Mohammad Sidiqi residents of Sheikh Mohalla gutted completely. However, no loss of life or injury was reported in this incident. Cause of fire is being ascertained.
Fire broke out in the Government Ration Depu shed at Gonikhan, Srinagar, jurisdiction of police station Sheergari, resulting ration depu got damaged. Cause of fire is being ascertained.
Fire broke out in the cowshed of Abdul Samad Bhat son of Mohammad Subhan resident of Krad Shangus, Anantnag, jurisdiction of police station Anantnag, resulting in house of Abdul Aziz Bhat son of Mohammad Akram and the said cowshed got damaged partially. However, no loss of life or injury was reported in this incident.
During the intervening night of 28/29.10.2012, apple shed of Mohammad Akbar sheikh son-in-law of Mohammad Ramzan resident of Alamdar colony, Yarbugh, Baramulla, jurisdiction of police station Dangiwachagutted partially due to fire. Cause of fire is being ascertained.


2 consume poison in Budgam
Aijaz Ahmad Khan age 26 years, son of Late Shamus-Din resident of Khag, Budgam, jurisdiction of police station consumed some poisonous substance and was shifted to JVC, Bemina, Srinagar for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
A girl (name with held) resident of Nambalhar Krimshoora, Budgam, jurisdiction of police station Khansahib consumed some poisonous substance and has been shifted to SMHS, Srinagar for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
