2 Die,14 Injured in road mishaps,2 Consume poison,1 dies | |
Srinagar, November 03 (Scoop News) - Two persons died and fourteen others were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir Valley. An accident took place between a Maruti Car bearing registration number JK05C/0314 and a Motorcycle bearing registration number JK09/5529, at Khanpora, Delina, Baramulla, jurisdiction of police station Baramulla, resulting into death of Mohammad Amin Malla, age 27 years, son of Abdul Khaliq resident of Arampora, Sopore and Dawood Ahmad Sheikh, age 19 years, son of Azad Ahmad resident of Shahabad, Sopore and injuries to Zeeshan Zargar, age 35 years, son of Ghulam Nabi resident of Sherwani Colony, Baramulla and Umer Sheikh resident of Sopore. Both the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard. An accident took place between a Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK09/5547 and another Tata sumo bearing registration number JK01G/7552 at Hyder Beigh near TCP National Highway, Baramulla, jurisdiction of police station Pattan, resulting in injuries to nine passengers. All the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard. A Tata Magic without registration number rammed into a sand dune near Tamiloo, Kulgam, jurisdiction of police station Kulgam, resulting in injuries to three persons including driver of the said vehicle. Injured were shifted to hospital for treatment, where from Yawar Hamid son of Abdul Hamid and Ramiz Ahmad Bhat son of Ghulam Mohammad resident of Katrasoo were referred to SKIMS, Soura, Srinagar for further treatment. A case has been registered in this regard. 2 Consume poison: 1 dies Srinagar, November 03: A 19 years old girl (name with held) resident of Ganipora, Baramulla, jurisdiction of police station Kunzer was found in unconscious condition in a Public Park near sports Stadium, Tangmarg and was shifted to sub district Hospital, Tangmarg by some locals. Apparently the said girl has consumed some poisonous substance and was referred to SKIMS, Soura, Srinagar, where doctors declared her brought dead. A case has been registered in this regard. Meanwhile, a 17 years old girl (name with held) resident of Sursuna, Kulgam, jurisdiction of police station Yaripora, consumed some poisonous substance at her home and was shifted to Sub District Hospital, Yaripora for treatment, where from refered to SMHS, Srinagar for further treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
Police Baramulla seized illicit timber in Gulmarg Baramulla police seized illicit timber from a shed in Gulmarg. Acting on a specific information Gulmarg police conducted a raid on a shed belonging to one Mohammad Akbar Wani son of Abdul Razaq Wani resident of Chanapora Tangmarg at Gulmarg and recovered illicit timber worth thousands of rupees. A case FIR, No. 31 /2012 under section 379 RPC, 6 F. Act was registered in Police Station Gulmarg and investigation taken up.
House damaged in fire Today fire broke out in the residential house of Zahoor Ahmad Khan son of Ghulam Ahmad resident of Syed Hamidpora Nawab Bazar, Srinagar, jurisdiction of police station Mehraj Gung, resulting in complete damage to the said house.
