| DC Leh seeks additional fund under BADP to complete important projects | |  Leh, November 03(Scoop News)-The Deputy Commissioner Leh Tsering Angchuk today through a power point presentation apprised the Union Home Secretary, RK Singh about the progress of all Centrally sponsored ongoing schemes of Leh district with special reference to the Task Force Scheme.
The DC also gave a detailed information about the present status of restoration works aftermath of August 2010 flash flood caused massive destruction to the public and private properties.
He also explained Mr. Singh about the funding flow, latest expenditure statement and requirement of further funds to do the remaining permanent restoration works in the district.
Demanding additional funds under BADP to complete the ongoing projects, the DC apprised the Union Home Secretary about the difficulties being faced by the district administration in implementing the projects in various villages located close to the Indo-China border.
The Union Home Secretary expressing satisfaction over the work done in Leh district, appreciated the LAHDC and the administration for their dedicated work and assured to increase funds under BADP for early completion of important projects.
