JK Minister for implementation of development schemes
Srinagar, November 09 (Scoop News)- JK Minister for Rural Development, Law, Justice, Parliament Affairs and Panchayati Raj, Mr. Ali Mohammad Sagar has appealed people to extend their full support in the implementation of developmental programmes initiated by the government.
The Minister was interacting with scores of deputationists during his extensive tour of the old city Srinagar conducted to monitor the status of developmental works and also the arrangements being made for the Muharram.
Vice Chairman, Srinagar Development Authority, Khawaja Farooq RenzuShah, Commissioner Srinagar Municipal Corporation, Dr. G. N. Qasba, Chief Engineers of R&B, UEED, PDD, PHE and other senior officers of different departments were accompanying the Minister.
The Minister directed the officers to ensure adequate supply of power, water to the Shia dominated and their catchment areas so that the devotees do not face any inconvenience. He also asked the Commissioner SMC to ensure proper cleanliness of the city and also work in synergy with PDD to make sure that the street lights are functioning properly.
Mr. Sagar said that a Hussani Hall would be constructed at Shamaswari and directed the concerned to prepare a detailed project report for the same so that the work would be started at an earliest. He also announced that a Community Hall would be constructed at Namchibal for the convenience of general public.
The Minister also directed the Chief Engineer R&B to ensure that the bottlenecks in the widening of road from Fatehkadal to Khankahi Moulla are removed as soon as possible..
