| Thousands of people participated in day long prayers at Kishtwar | | 
Kishtwar,November 10 (Scoop News)- Annual Urs of sofi saint Hazrat Shah Mohammad Asrar-ud-Din Baghdadi (RTA) commonly known as Asrar Sahib was celebrated with religious fervour on Friday at Kishtwar.
Thousands of people from different parts of the state and outside have started to arrive in Kishtwar town right from Wednesday evening for making their presence in annual Urs of Asrar Sahib. People from different parts of state arrived in Kishtwar District and participated in day long prayers which continue whole night. The day witnessed special prayers and sermons by the religious scholars which were attended by a large number of devotees. Former Minister and MLA Inderwal Ghulam Mohammad Saroori and MLA Kishtwar Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo also offered prayers and sought the blessings at the shrine of Hazrat Shah Mohammad Asrar-ud-Din Baghdadi (RTA).
District Development Commissioner Kishtwar, Saleem Mohammad has enjoined upon all the line department functionaries to make available all facilities to the devotees. Besides security, elaborate arrangements for provision of uninterrupted power supply, safe drinking water, sanitation, transport were made by the district administration for the annual Urs Sharief. Police have also made an elaborated security arrangement to deal with any law and order problem, beside to keep an eye on anti national and criminal elements. Police personal in civil dresses were also deployed in large numbers in and around the shrine of Hazrat Shah Mohammad Asrar-ud-Din Baghdadi (RTA).
