| ECA stresses the engineers to speed up pending works in Leh | |
Leh, December 18 (Scoop News)-To provide timely electricity supply from Alchi Hydel project to the left out villages of Shaam area of Leh Distt keeping in view of pressing demands from the people, the Executive Councilor for Agriculture Sonam Dorjey today convened a meeting with Chief Engineer RGGVY, Leh, Exn PDC, Leh and Exn PDD, Leh and strongly stressed upon the engineers to speed up the pending works so that remaining un- electrified villages of Shaam could be electrified in shortest possible time.
The EC Sonam Dorjey discussed in detail about the work progress of 66 KV Transmission line from Alchi to Khaltsi, works on Khaltsi Sub Station and 11 KV feeding line with the engineers and directed them to do the needful works on priority by engaging extra machines and men power.
The Chief Engineer RGGVY, Leh apprised EC Sonam Dorjey that they are in the active process of collecting materials for installation of 66 KV Transmission line from Alchi to Khaltsi and for Khaltsi Sub Station and assured the EC to speed up the remaining works so as to ensure connecting the left out un-covered villages of the area with Alchi Project.
