PDP Migrant Cell accuse Centre of ignoring plight of KPs
Jammu, December 18 (Scoop News) –PDP Migrant Cell has accused the Centre and State Govts of step motherly treatment and discriminatory attitude towards internally displaced KP’s.

Addressing a meeting of displaced Pandits at Jagti Township today PDP Migrant Wing President Ashok Bhat, said that both NC collection and centre Govt’s have taken KPS for granted thus ignoring them on all fronts because being a minuscule minority they are not vote bank.

He said that KP’s have played a vital role in every elections in the State. In coming elections too this small margin of vote can again play a significant role, He also said that the return policy of displaced pundits to Kashmir the NC Collection and Center Govt’s are not interested for their purposeful rehabilitation and resettlement in the valley, but for a token return they have given lollypops to some selected members of the community.

He said NC-Congress collection are never sincere and honest towards KP’s community, which is evident from its delay in passage of Shrine Bill, rehabilitation of over aged youth’s and cold response of enhancement of relief, allotment of shops, Quarters and other related issues.

Ashok Bhat said instead of providing healing touch to KP’s community the NC-Congress Govt policies are aimed at providing heating touch to displaced community from the valley. Ashok Bhat said that it is unfortunate that State Government has used police force on peaceful migrant relief holder’s rally, who were demanding enhancement of cash relief on 17 Dec 2012. at Jammu. Bhat also said the KP’s should think over attitude towards Present NC-Congress Govt. He stressed on KP’s to strengthen the Mufti Mohd hands and his polices towards KP’s. The meeting was also addressed by RK Paradsi, Sunil Bhat, Veerji Raina, Ramash Koul, Babloo Singh, Chandji Khar, Ravi Ji, Chand Ji Bhat and Gagan Ji.
