| Dr. Shehnaz Ganai calls on Governor | |  Jammu, January 10Scoop News) –Dr. Shehnaz Ganai, Member of the State Legislative Council, called on N. N. Vohra, Governor, at Raj Bhavan here today.
During her meeting with the Governor, Dr. Shehnaz Ganai discussed issues relating to the functioning of Panchayati Raj institutions and their empowerment, need for establishing rail connectivity with Poonch and the importance of socio-economic development schemes and programmes being executed timely and efficiently. As Dr. Ganai has post-graduate qualification in the field of Medicine, the Governor urged her to take special interest in the functioning of health care institutions in her area and, besides, the education of the girl child.
The Governor wished Dr. Shehnaz Ganai a very productive and successful political career in the coming time.
