| Traffic on national Highway to be allowed, subject to weather conditions today | | People asked to contact Control room before leaving station | Jammu,January 16 (Scoop News) –In wake of the inclement weather conditions and snow fall being experienced at various places today, the Traffic movement on Jammu- Srinagar National Highway on Friday would be subject to the weather condition.
The commuters, who intend to travel on the road from Jammu to Srinagar, are requested to ascertain the status from the Traffic Police Control room and only then leave their stations.
The Traffic department has appealed to the people not to undertake the journey unless getting confirmation from the Traffic Control room to avoid any inconvenience on the way.
Meanwhile, as many as 245 light motor vehicles and 145 heavy vehicles, including Passenger buses were cleared today.
