Avalanche warning in Kashmir | | Srinagar,January 18 (Scoop News) –High danger avalanche warning has been issued for higher reaches of Naugam, Kaiyan and Gurez sector for the next 24 hours. Medium danger avalanche for higher reaches of Chowkibal, Tangdhar, Keran, Machil, Sonamarg, Gulmarg and Uri.
People staying in snow bound area of these locations have been advised not to venture in avalanche prone area. Srinagar-Jammu NHW remained closed today. No commercial flight operated due to poor visibility. The weather is likely to improve on Saturday 19th January.
