Executive Councilor Leh refutes BJP's allegations

Leh,January 19 (Scoop News) – Executive Councilor CA&PD Gh. Abass Abadi today rubbished BJP's allegation that there is non-availability of Public representatives at Council Office, Leh.
In a statement issued here said that the Executive Councilor CA&PD had punctually attended the office and addressing the day to day public concerns.

Statement said that CEC Rgizin Spalbar and Executive Councilors have to attend various meetings in state and at Delhi with different issues and proposals concerned to the Leh district and able to sanction some mega projects like Rajive Awaz Yojna and NABARD Projects in Leh.

Statement alleged that that during their (UT Front led) tenure they never bothered to take up the issues of Leh with State or Centre Govt. for which the people of Leh had badly suffered. It is only the sincere effort of Nawang Rigzin Jora and all other senior congress leaders who raised the issues and problems at different levels and able to resolve.

The enhancement in subsidized LPG Cylinders was already taken up with Union Petroleum Minister and Chief Minster by Minster Nawang Rigzin Jora and CEC Rigzin Spalbar Leh for special consideration to Leh district in view of unique climatic and regional conditions. While recently the Congress led govt. at centre has announced to increase the Cap on subsidized LPG from 6 to 9 during the current year. Hence, the issue is resolved.

As for a supply of Kerosene Oil is concerned it becomes mandatory to inform to the general public that the Leh district has received a highest allocation of K.Oil and the department has distributed the allotted K.Oil in a record time. The department could not supply K.Oil to those few leftover families due to snowfall. Further, the department of CA&PD has also taken up for issuance of new Ration Card to the leftover families in Leh with the State Govt. and expecting to sanction it shortly.
