India is secular because of Hindus: Ghulam Qadir
JK JD (U) demands Union Home Minister’s resignation
Jammu,January 22(Scoop News) –Condemning the Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde for issuing statement over ‘Hindu Terror’, which has triggered a huge political controversy with the BJP the Janta Dal (U) has accused the Congress of indulging in vote bank politics and demanded resignation of Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde.

The demand was raised by State Janta Dal (U) president Ghulam Qadir Wani while addressing a meeting here today. He said “What is the meaning of joining Hindu and saffron color with terror? It is a downright insult of India’s spiritual, cultural and civilization heritage. Hindus has always been generous… India is secular because Hindus respect the other view,”

Demanding his resignation, Wani said that Since the Union Home Minister and his party both has failed to discharge their duties towards the people of country, it is his moral responsibility to submit his resignation to his party president.


Meanwhile, the senior leader has also criticize the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah over the new recruitment policy and said this is mere harassment for the educated youth of state as government in order to provide them jobs is forcing them to mend other ways to feed their families.

Raising the issue of SPO’s he said, from a long time the issue of regularization of SPOs is pending but no one from the ruling government is serious over the issue, as SPOs by putting their lives in danger are providing their services to government in far flung areas but government has no policy for them.
On the occasion body for Kupawara District was announced which includes Manzoor Ahmed, Khalid Ahmed Lone, Nazir Sheikh, Mohd Shafeeq Ganie, Fayaz Ahmed Lone, Saifudin Badana, Shameena Begum, Aziz Khan and other. While Mohd Azam Meelu was nominated as District President Poonch.

During the meeting, Syed Jameel Shah and Hazi Abdul Rehman also joined the party under the leadership of Ghulam Qadir Wani. Welcoming the new entrants into party folds, Wani said that this is very good moment that political leaders hailing from various parties are leaving their parties to join the Janta Dal(U). which is committed to serve the people of state in a better manner.

Among others present during the meeting were SP Mangotra, Puran Sharma, Bal Krishan, Yog Raj Singh Chib, Sanjay Bhagat, Bhopinder Singh, Rajinder Sharma, Avinash Sharma, Jamrooda Begum and Sunita Devi.
