Div Com Kashmir visits SKIMS, City & North Kashmir
DC visits city hospitals
Srinagar, February 11 (Scoop News) – Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, Dr Asgar Hassan Samoon today visited SKIMS Soura to enquire about the injured persons who have been admitted for the medical treatment in the hospital. Besides providing cash relief of Rs.10,000 out of the Red Cross relief fund to the families/ attendants of each injured person being treated at the SKIMS, Dr Samoon urged the Hospital Authorities to provide better medicare facilities to the injured persons and was assured by the Doctors for the same on the occasion.
Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir also announced Rs. one lac each in favour of NOKS of the two persons of village Batwani of District Ganderbal who died due to drowning in Sumbal area and also in favour of the person who died in Watergam village of Rafiabad in District Baramulla.
For the convenience of general public, Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir has also kept three Red Cross ambulances available for any emergencies in addition to the ambulances of Health, Medical and SKIMS.
Director, CAPD has been directed to ensure availability of essentials besides fresh vegetables and Milk. He has been also asked to ensure Home delivery of LPG to the consumers and keep sale outlets open in all towns where restrictions are imposed to mitigate any inconvenience to the public whil Commissioner, SMC was asked to ensure cleanliness in the Srinagar City.
Besides, Director Health Services Kashmir, Chief Engineer EM&RE/ PHE have been directed to keep their services available round the clock.
Meanwhile, to take stock of the situation, Dr. Samoon, made an extensive tour of Sopore and Baramulla Towns of North Kashmir besides visited Down Town area of Srinagar City. During his visit to the Shrine on the eve of Urs of Peer Dastigeer Sahib (RA) at Khanyar alongwith Sajada Nisheen, JKPCC & Police authorities, Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir reviewed the ongoing works on the newly constructed project. Local Auquaf members were also present on spot. The JKPCC authorities were directed to complete the project on war footing basis in the interest of general public and also asked the concerned wakf authorities to make arrangements for the ensuing urs of Peer Dastigeer Sahib (RA).



DC visits city hospitals
Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar, Baseer Ahmad Khan today visited various health institutions of Srinagar city to assess the medicare being extended to the ailing.
The Deputy Commissioner took stock of availability of medicines and facilities being provided to the patients at Ghousia hospital and other healthcare institutions in the city.
