Srinagar, February 16 (Scoop News) – A Sumo bearing registration number JK09/6533 coming from Kupwara to Khumriyal met with an accident near Ziyarat Sharief Ghoos, Khumriyal in Kupwara, resulting in on spot death of two persons namely Mohammad Jamal Mir, age 60 years, son of Khar Mir resident of Khumriyal, Khangund and Mohammad Shafi Lone, age 35 years, son of Ghulam Rasool resident of Nowabad, Khumriyal.
Driver fled away from the spot and vehicle seized. A case has been registered in this regard.
Meanwhile Fire broke out in the Panchayat Ghar building at Desand, Kulgam, in the jurisdiction of police station Kulgam, due to which one room of the building got damaged. However, no loss of life or injury was reported in this incident. Cause of fire is being ascertained. A case has been registered in this regard.

Today Inspector General of police, Traffic in his communiqué stated that on February 17,subject to fair weather and good conditions of road all kinds of vehicles would be allowed to travel from Kashmir side towards Jammu in regulated manner.
