World Sisterhood Day celebrated
Taj highlights role of Scouts movement

Jammu, February 22 (Scoop News) - Minister for Medical Education, Youth Services & Sports, Taj Mohi ud Din has highlighted the role of scouts movement in shaping the younger generation to face challenges of life.
Addressing a function to mark the World Sisterhood Day, also celebrated as thinkers’ day, the Minister said the movement has played pioneering role in inculcating values of discipline, patriotism and nationalism among students in general and scouts and girl guides in particular.
Reminding students of his school day association with the scout movement, Taj asked them to join the scouts movement and be a part of it to shine the innate capabilities of a person. He said the strict regime of the movement breeds in self confidence and discipline among students from a young age.

The world Sisterhood day is observed all across world as thinkers day as well since 1932. It marks the birthday of Paul Barden, the founder of Souts movement.
