POK resident’s body recovered in Kupwara | | Srinagar, March 11 (Scoop News)- Police Keran recovered an unidentified male dead body from River Kishan Ganga at Liukakar Teetwal, Kupwara, in Keran.
Police said that the body was later identified as Mohammad Ali Mir son of Mohammad Ramzan resident of Bandi Tehsil Atmaqam District Neelam of POK. The matter has been taken up with NC authorities for further disposal of the dead body.
Kitchen, 3 Houses damaged in fire
Due to leakage of LPG gas, fire broke out in the house of Ghulam Mohammad Tantray at Hablishi, Kulgam in the jurisdiction of Police Station Dever, resulting in damage to the Kitchen. In another incident, fire broke out from the house of Ishtiyaq Ahmad Dar resident of Kursoo Rajbagh, Srinagar, and fire engulfed at other two houses of Tariq Ahmad Dar and Ghulam Hassan Dar, resulting in damaged to the structures.
3 Injured in road mishaps
Three persons were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir Valley. An Auto Rickshaw bearing registration number JK01N/4823 hit and injured a pedestrian Misra Begum, age 60 years wife of Mohammad Yousuf Rather resident of Doligund, Dangiwacha at Batamaloo Bus Stand, Srinagar. The injured has been shifted to hospital for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard. A Tipper bearing registration number JK04/5322 hit a Tata Mobile vehicle bearing registration number JK01N/9102 at Bye Pass Bemina, Srinagar, resulting in injuries to Altaf Hussain resident of Shalimar and Fayaz Ahmed Bhat resident of Saidakadal, Srinagar boarded in the Tata Mobile. The injured has been shifted to hospital for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard. ... |
