House established after sacrifices by our elders | uphold its sanctity: Gul appeals members | Jammu, March 20 (Scoop News) –The Speaker Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, Mubarak Gul today sought cooperation from all political parties to ensure smooth proceedings in the House so that maximum public importance issues are raised. He said it is the forum where the legislators have a chance to raise the problems of their respective areas. Chairing a meeting of the Business Advisory Committee (BAC), the Speaker described the House as the temple of democracy and aspirations of people. He said parliamentary democracy in the State has been established by great sacrifices by our elders. He appealed members to uphold the sanctity and decorum of the House and in no way let it either lower it or become an involuntary party in doing do. The meeting decided that Minister for Law, Parliamentary Affairs Mir Saifullah would personally request the leader of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to join back the House for remaining Business proceedings in the interest of democratic principles. The meeting was attended by the Deputy Speaker, Legislative Assembly Mohammad Sartaj Madani, Deputy Chief Minister Tara Chand, Minister for Agriculture Ghulam Hassan Mir, Minister for Law, Parliamentary Affairs Mir Saifullah, legislators; Hakeem Mohammad Yasin, Haresh Dev Singh, M.
