Jammu,March 26 (Scoop News) –Jammu province people forum (JPPF), an amulgum of more than 50 Social, Commercial and other organizations, today in a meeting unanimously resolved that they will hold a strong protest on March 29th at 11 AM at Jambulochan park Purani mandi Jammu to express their resentment against the partisan role of ruling coalition in solving the unemployment of Jammu Youth equitably preferably 60% due to its population and area.

JPPF, a strong voice of Jammu Province on Tuesday convened a meeting under the chairmanship of Th.Pavittar Singh Rtd. Distt & Session Judge.
The statement said that Jammu Province is being discriminated in allocation of funds for development as has been observed for allocation in water bodies of Mansar and Surinsar , Installation of Ropeway Project Mahamaya-Panjthirthi is being delayed unnecessary and a total neglect of other tourist spots in Reasi,Poonch, Rajouri, Kishtwar , Doda , Baderwah and other infrastructure development in Jammu tourism.
After more than 16 years Panchyat Elections were held but no protection is being provided to Sarpanches and Panches who have a standing threat to their lives who are resigning en-mass during April 2013.JPPF demands immediate protection to the elected Panches and Sarpanches save the basic institution. of democracy from being redounded,Statement said.
.
JPPF said that POK Refugees claiming for the last more than 65 Years have suffered a lot in their settlement grant of State Subject certificate and Voting rights in their favour. It is matter of shame that a person born in foreign country is entitled to the citizenship of that country with claim of all enmities equal to the native of their Country, but the same is denied to the POK refugees and their children. JPPF fully supports the cause of POK refugees and appeal to the coalition Govt. to issue one time settlement orders in respect of their demands in a time bound frame work. Thus fulfilling their long pending demands.
JPPF also condemn the Govt. for not giving proper attention to provide Job opportunities to the youth of this region. You name any field let it be tourism, Industry health etc the corruption is at the top. Most of the recruitments are done through pick and choose policy that too from the back door. Thousands of the youth i.e nears and dears of the people sitting on the helm of the affairs are placed but the poor and general people are deprived. In education field the Private sector is deprived of many opportunities even some of the areas like- ETT Institutions are forced to close down. As no body is there to listen to their problems. The Stake holders are sitting on hunger strike since long but it is unfortunate that the concerned Minister who is from Jammu is also not concerned with this issue if this issue is studied thoroughly one can easily find out that the forces who are keen to destabilize the economy of the Jammu Region are the People who are responsible for this chaos on one hand Govt. allows Institutions to open when their palms are not greased they plan to crush any damm thing.
The JPPF has decided not to leave any stone unturned to get justice to the people of Jammu and will take up all issues at appropriate level the JPPF further appreciates the aggressive role of Jammu MLA’s like Harshdev Singh, Ashwani Sharma, Balwant Mankotia.Jugal Kishore, Shamlal Sharma, Raman Bhalla,, Dr. Manoahar Lal Sharma & Cong. Leader of Doda G.M sarori and Sh Niaz for upholding dignity of Jammu. We extend ful cooperation for their rightful work in right full way in assembly as public representative.

They alleged that there is crude discrimination in reviving sick industry in Jammu Province as compared to Kashmir valley. For instance 57 sick units being revived in Kashmir have been disbursed an amount of Rs. 5.07 crores against 07 units in Jammu a disbursed a meager amount of Rs. 5.50 lac only
JPPF appeals the public at large including Political parties leaving aside their political garb to join us in our struggle to give a fight to the ghost of discrimination and disparity meted out by the public and the unemployed youth at the hands of coalition Govt.
