| 5 children died, 7 injured in School Bus accident in Kokernag | |
Srinagar, April 4(Scoop News) – A School Bus of Moral High School Dialgam met with an accident near Kandiwari in Kokernag, resulting in death of five students including one girl student, and injuries to others. SSP, Anantnag Sh RK Jalla ASP Mohammed Zaid along with SHO kokernag rushed to the spot to supervise the rescue operation.
In the afternoon, a minibus bearing registration number JK03-6929 carrying students from Dyalgam met with an accident near Kandiwara about 12 kms from Anantnag. So far, five dead bodies including that of a girl has been evacuated while 9 injured have been shifted to hospitals. More details are being collected.
Inspector General of Police Kashmir Zone Sh. Abdul Ghani Mir visited the Anantnag hospital to see the injured and directed the district police authorities to provide all possible help to the injured and their relatives.
