JK CM visits bereaved families in Kandiwara
Consoles them, expresses condolence, solidarity
Srinagar, April 6 (Scoop News) –Chief Minister Omar Abdullah Saturday morning visited bereaved families in Kandiwara, Kokernag area who have lost their kids in a tragic road accident the other day.
Omar Abdullah stayed with the families consoled them, conveyed his heartfelt grief, expressed solidarity, sympathy and prayed for peace to the departed souls and early recovery of injured.
The Chief Minister has already announced ex-gratia relief of Rs. one lakh each to the victims’ families and Rs. 10,000 each to the injured. He has also directed for befitting treatment to the injured.
Omar Abdullah directed District Development Commissioner, Anantnag for early preparation of DPR for construction of bridge on Kandiwara-Sagam road and its upgradation. He also directed for strengthening the health infrastructure in Kandiwara area.
