21 school children injured in Trigam Kupwara
JK Minister expresses shock over Trigam road accident


Srinagar, April 6 (Scoop News) – In another school bus met with an accident near Thregam in Kupwara, in which 21 children injured, 5 are stated to be critical.

Police said that twenty-one students were injured in an accident that occurred in Thregam area of Kupwara district this evening.

Twenty-one students of were injured when School Bus bearing registration number Jk09-1617 they were travelling in, met with an accident near Hafnad, Thregam, in the jurisdiction of Police station Thregam. All the injured students were shifted to hospital for treatment. Police has registered a case in this regard.

It may be mentioned that on Thursday a School Bus of Moral High School Dialgam met with an accident near Kandiwari in Kokernag in South Kashmir, resulting in death of nine school children died and injuries to others.
Meanwhile Minister of State for Health, Shabir Ahmad has expressed grief and sorrow over the Trigam, Kupwara road accident in which school children were injured.
The Minister has directed the concerned health authorities of Kupwara and Handwara Hospitals for providing best treatment and other facilities to the injured persons.
