KP organizations condemn Govt. role on Shrine Bill
APMCC threatens 3rd Fast unto Death in Kashmir
Jammu, April 7 (Scoop News) –Various KP organizations have condemned the Government’s attitude towards the formation of Shrine Board for protection and management of Hindu Shrines in Kashmir valley.

All Parties Migrants Coordination Committee (APMCC) has strongly condemned the J&K government for its casual approach towards introduction of Hindu Temples and Shrines Bill in J&K Legislative Assembly and later on sending it to select committee thus delaying the passage of Bill once again.
In a statement issued here King C Bharati,National Spokesperson of APMCC said that the organization has taken strong note of the attitude of the government for its casual approach towards Kashmiri Pandits which was evident from the fact that even after introducing the Bill after four years on the last day of the session it preferred to send it to select committee instead of passing it to send a good signal to the community.
Bharati said that the delay in passing of the Bill has sent clear indications that J&K Government was taking Kashmiri Pandits for granted adding the objections raised by the members in the assembly smack of a communal attitude of the government towards Kashmiri Pandits.
Saying that Temple Bill was an important issue for the community,he said that APMCC would launch 3rd fast unto death agitation in KashmiR.
Sandeep Bhat while reacting on the issue said that the government has cheated Kashmiri Pandits once again adding the way it was introduced on the last day of the session and frivolous objections raised seemed pre-planned thus making another delay in its passage.

ASKPC, which held a meeting under the chairmanship of H L Chatta strongly condemned the Government’s role in sabotaging the Bill.
Terming the decision to send the Bill to Select Committee of the House as unfortunate even after four years of its tabling in the Assembly, Mr Chatta said this shows that coalition was not interested in the passage of the Bill.
He said had the Congress and NC been sincere the mass exodus of Pandits would have never taken place. The fate of the Bill was known already as this Government was never sincere towards the welfare of the community as they are more interested for welfare of separatists and surrendered militants than the peace loving and patriotic people of the State.
He said the lacunas were deliberately kept in the Bill by the Government to sabotage its passage and the community has lost all faith in it. He said the coalition failed to give any representation to the community in Lower House Council of Ministers as well as other representative bodies so how can the community expect any good from it.
AMCCC in a meeting held under the chairmanship of Desh Rattan its president also took the Government to task for sabotaging the Shrine Bill at last moment. It also warned against giving any representation except the Kashmiri Hindus in the Shrine Board and criticized Javed Dar for his role.
Desh Rattan also held the Central Government responsible for their problems and urged the community to fight untidily for their demands
