Kashmira Vahini suggesting adoption of 3 child norm for KPs
Jammu, April 9 (Scoop News) –Kashmira Vahini in its executive meeting today, chaired by its organising secretary Sushma Reshi, resolved to intensify and support the ongoing Kashmiri Pandit struggle for separate homeland for seven lakh Kashmiri Pandits in Kashmir Valley.

Highlighting the role of Kashmiri Pandit women in exile,Smt Kirti Kalla Kick-started a massive contact drive of KV to reach out to 5000 displaced Kashmiri Pandit women across Jammu for membership enrollment and appointing 100 co-ordinators for Kashmira Vahini activities.

Dr.Kshama Kaul, the national spokesperson, expressed happiness that the idea of Kashmira Vahini's historic resolution suggesting adoption of three child norm for displaced Kashmiri Pandits,who are faced with a threat of extinction in terms of their fast dwindling population,is being favourably discussed in the community and endorsed by other sister organization.


Gaytri Hashya and Vijay Khoda,the senior functionaries while hailing the decision of KV to recognise and honor the contribution of the distinguished scholars artists.educationist,socio-cultural activists and institutions ,expressed delight to felicitate and confer the "LOK SEWA SAMMAN" this year to P.L.Handoo,smt.Naina Saproo,Smt.Kirti Kalla & Satisar Foundation.


Nirmala Tikku ,cultural secretary highlighted the need to intensify the collective efforts to get the long pending sufferings of the Jagti inmates redressed. Referring towards the policy of neglect and apathy of all the successive state and central govts. towards our unemployed and over aged youths,she stressed the need to create massive awareness about the attitude of govt.

In her address Sushma Reshi organising secretary announced that Kashmira Vahini will convene its "2nd All India Kashmiri Pandit Women Conference" in Jammu which will finalise the future course of action for consolidation of exiled women force in india and abroad for ultimate reclaimation of homeland.The meeting was conducted by smt Meenakshi Sidha.
