| JK Governor review the facilities created at Spiritual Centre at Katra | |  Jammu, April 19 (Scoop News) –N. N. Vohra, Governor, today visited Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Spiritual Growth Centre at Katra and reviewed the various facilities created at this Centre by the Shrine Board.
Enroute from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine to Jammu, the Governor went around various sections of the Spiritual Growth Centre and evinced keen interest in the exhibits put up for display in the Exhibition Halls. He also visited the Human Resource Development Centre, Conference Room, Auditorium and Amphitheatre.
During his visit to the Library-cum-Research Centre, the Governor was briefed by Navin K. Choudhary, his Principal Secretary and Chief Executive Officer of the Shrine Board, about the initiatives which are being taken by this Centre for the collection and preservation of rare manuscripts. The Governor while reviewing the functioning of the various sections of the Centre emphasized the high importance of taking all the required measures for preserving these valuable manuscripts of great historical importance, particularly for use by research scholars.
Mrs. Usha Vohra, First Lady, was accompanying the Governor. S. M. Sahni, Director, Spiritual Growth Centre, Katra, and Mohan Lal, Additional SP, Katra, were present on the occasion.
