3 dies, 7 injured in road mishaps | | Srinagar, April 26 (Scoop News) –Three persons including a minor died and seven other were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir Valley. A Truck bearing registration number JK03B/8904 hit a Scooter bearing registration number JK01E/6561 near Iqbal Abad Shalteng on National Highway, Srinagar, today, resulting in on spot death of Scooterist Sheikh Mushtaq Ahmed son of Ghulam Nabi resident of Naidyar Rainawari, Srinagar. A case has been registered in this regard. A Sumo bearing registration number JK22/3738 hit and injured a 5 year old Urbeena Mukhtar daughter of Mukhtar Ahmad Malik resident of Bongam Shopian at Kokli Mazar, Shopian, in the jurisdiction of police station Shopian. The injured succumbed to her injuries on way to hospital. A case has been registered in this regard. An Eeeco bearing registration number JK04B/4522 hit and injured a pedestrian Abdul Hamid Mir age about 45 years son of Abdul Aziz resident of Airpanthan at Chachaloora, Budgam, in the jurisdiction of police station Magam. The injured was shifted to JVC Bemina, Srinagar for treatment, where he succumbed to his injuries. A case has been registered in this regard. A collision took place at Padshahi Bagh, Nowgam, Srinagar between British Public School Bus and Santro Car, resulting in injuries to four persons traveling in the Santro. All the injured have been shifted to hospital for treatment. A Maruti Car bearing registration number JK03/7167 hit and injured two pedestrians Bilal Ahmad Sheikh, age 25 years son of Ghulam Nabi resident of Bragam, and Tariq Ahmad Malik son of Ghulam Nabi resident of Iqbal Colony, Arabal at Dooru, Anantnag, in the jurisdiction of police station Dooru. The injured have been shifted to District Hospital, Anantnag for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard. An unidentified vehicle hit and injured a pedestrian Feroz Ahmad Lone, age 35 years, son of Mohammad Maqbool resident of Waripora Kund at Vessu on National Highway, in the jurisdiction of police station Qazigund. The injured has been shifted to SKIMS, Soura, Srinagar for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
Laborer dies in an accident at KGHEP, Bandipora
A laborer died in an accident while working at a tunnel construction site of Kishan Ganga Hydro Electric Power Project at Bandipora. A 35 years old laborer Hardeep Singh, son of Gulzar Ram resident of Jalandhar Punjab died while working on a Tunnel Boring Machine at a tunnel construction site at Kishan Ganga Hydro Electric Power Project in Bandipora. Bandipora police has registered a case in this regard and has started an investigation in this regard. ... |
