| DC, Leh calls orientation session of the district officers | | 
Leh, May 1 (Scoop News) -The newly joined Deputy Commissioner of Leh district Simrandeep Singh convened an orientation session with the district officers to have a quick revision of the people whom he will be working with.
Calling the present post as his substantial posting with brief field assignment during his last tenure as Additional Secretary, General Administrative Department, DC said that he is looking forward for support and suggestions and urged the officers to work in close harmony with themselves and the Council. DC urged upon all the officers, especially the non locals to read the Acts of LAHDC to be aware of their power, procedure and functioning as it relates to every one of us and asserted that lack of knowledge and rules is the reason for people to fall into loopholes. Addressing the non local officers, DC urged them to have an understanding of different module and concept of Ladakh region and the need to respect it and serve the people of the district with full dedication and sincerity.
DC also made it clear to the HODs in the meeting to take the liaisoning charge of the visiting officials from outside Ladakh only by the concern department and soon he will call the officers to take a detail note of developmental works in various kinds of dispensation in the district under each department. DC ensures the officers to address the grievances of people and extend his support even out of way to keep their morals high and dedicate to the services of people of the district.
