| JK Speaker for launching Assembly Secretariat Website, TV Channel | | Reviews working of House Committees |  Srinagar,May 7 (Scoop News) – The Speaker, Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly Mubarak Gul Tuesday impressed upon the officers of Assembly Secretariat to install electronic attendance machines at Srinagar and Jammu offices for ensuing proper attendance of the employees.
He was addressing a meeting convened to review the working of various House Committees with the Officers of the Assembly Secretariat in his office chamber here today.
The Speaker also issued instructions for launching a website of the Assembly Secretariat in coordination with Information Technology Department and NIC besides providing Wi-Fi system within both the offices. He urged upon the officers to provide all kind of Secretariat assistance to the Chairman and Members for making the functioning of the Financial and other House Committees more effective, expeditious, result oriented and meaningful.
Gulalso directed the Assembly Secretariat to obtain a comprehensive report from the LokSabha Secretariat for Launching a TV Channel of the Assembly Secretariat.
Regarding the grievances being received from the general public,the Speaker directed the officers to place the same before the Committee on Petitions for their scrutiny and examination.
