| Militants killed Police officer at Pulwama Kashmir | |
Pulwama/Srinagar, May 10 (Scoop News) – Assitant Sub Inspector (ASI) of J&K Police Farooq Ahmad Sheikh was shot and critically injured by militants when he was on duty at Rajpora chowk, Pulwama in South Kashmir Friday afternoon. He later succumbed to his injuries, Police said.
According to Police ASI Farooq Ahmad hailed from Batamaloo area of Srinagar and is survived by his wife, three daughters and two sons.
A guard of honour and wreath laying ceremony was held for the departed officer at Pulwama.
