| Father of 3 kids shot dead in Pulwama | | Girls commits suicide in Kulgam | Srinagar, May 11 (Scoop News) –One person was shot dead by militants in Lasipora area of Pulwama District last evening,Police said today
According to Police some unknown militants shot at and seriously injured 30 years old Mudasir Ahmad Mir son of Ghulam Mohammad resident Aramulla in the compound of his house, in the jurisdiction of Police Station Lasipora, Pulwama.
He was shifted to Sub district Hospital Pulwama in critical condition where doctors declared him brought dead. The body of deceased was handed over to his next of kins for last rites. Police Lasipora has registered a case in this regard. The deceased was survived by his wife, three small children including two daughters and aged parents.
It may be mentioned that Militants killed the Assitant Sub Inspector (ASI) of J&K Police Farooq Ahmad Sheikh on Friday afternoon in Pulwama, when he was on duty at Rajpora chowk, Pulwama in South Kashmir Friday afternoon. He later succumbed to his injuries, Police said.
According to Police ASI Farooq Ahmad hailed from Batamaloo area of Srinagar and is survived by his wife, three daughters and two sons.
Girls commits suicide in Kulgam
Meanwhile a girl committed suicide in Qazigund area of Kulgam district last evening.
A 14 years old girl (name withheld) and resident of Nigeen¬-pora Kund, in the jurisdiction of police station Qazigund, Kulgam ended her life by hanging herself her home. The body of deceased was handed over to her relatives for last rites. Police Qazigund has registered a case in this regard.
