| 3 die, 04 injured in road mishaps | | 2 years old girl drowns in Kupwara |
Srinagar, June 19 (Scoop News) –Three persons including a minor died and two others were injured in different road accidents across the valley.
An unknown vehicle hit a six years old boy Javaid Ahmad Tedwa son of Mehraj-u-din resident of Gund, Ganderbal at Gund. The injured boy was shifted to SKIMS, Soura, and Srinagar where he succumbed to his injuries. Gund Police has registered a case in this regard.
Meanwhile, a LP truck bearing registration JK18/1588 hit and injured a pedestrian Hafeeza wife of Bashir resident of Kursoo, Rajbagh, Srinagar at Drangbal, in the jurisdiction of Police Station Pampore. The injured was shifted to Sub District Hospital, Pampore where she succumbed to her injuries. Pampore Police has registered a case in this regard.
In another accident, a 18 years old Manzoor Ahmad Dar son of Mohammad Subhan resident of Soura, Uri died when he was hit a a bus bearing registration number JK05A/6157 at Guchawala, Nambal, in the jurisdiction of Police station Uri. The bodo of deceased was handed over to his relative for last rites. Uri Police has registered a case in this regard.
In an another accident, an army vehicle hit and injured Mohammad Rafiq Lone son of Ghulam Nabi and Shahzad Rashid son of Abdul Rashid resident of Kehnoosa, Bandipora at Keema, in the jurisdiction of Police station Bandipora. Both the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment. Bandipora Police has registered a case in this regard.
In another accident, a motorcycle bearing registration number Dl85NB/8876 collided with a tipper bearing registration number JK01A/4397 on K.P road Anantnag near Al-Sarvat school, in the jurisdiction of Police Station Mattan resulting in injuries to the motorcyclist and driver of the tipper. Both the injured were shifted to Sub District Hospital, Anantnag for treatment. Mattan Police has registered a case in this regard.
2 years old girl drowns in Kupwara
A two years old girl Rasia Banoo daughter of Irshad Ahmad Ganie resident of Ganie Mohalla, Lalpora, Kupwara slipped in a pond of water and was drowned to death. The body was retrieved from the pond and later handed over to her relatives for last rites.
