| Boy drowns in Bandipora | | Unidentified body recovered in Baramulla |
Srinagar, April 23 (Scoop News)- A 5 year old boy drowned in river Jehlum in Sumbal area of Bandipora district.
Aafreen Rashid age 05 years son of Abdul Rashid Charoo resident of Ninara Sumbal, Bandipora drowned in river Jehlum at Sumbal, Bandipora. Police has launched operation to retrieve the body from the river.
Unidentified body recovered in Baramulla
Baramulla police was informed by some locals that a body is floating in river Jehlum near Gantmulla, Sheeri. Police party was sent on the spot and retrieved a male body from the river. The body is lying in District Hospital, Baramulla for identification.
Sheeri police has initiated inquest proceeding under section174 CrPC to ascertain the cause of the death.
