| Sham greets people on Eid | | “Wishes them well-being and prosperity” |  Jammu,July 29, (Scoop News)- Minister for PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control, Sham Lal Sharma today visited Eidgah Akhnoor and extended Eid greetings to the people especially Muslim brethren of the state pm the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
Sham highlighted the essence of Eid and said that this day is to address the need of poor and share Eid bless with them. He prayed for peace and prosperity and wished that the occasion be the harbinger for all round development in the state and the country. He also hoped that his holy occasion would strengthen the bonds of communal harmony brotherhood and amity ‘Eid also embeds the message of taking care of the needy and making them part of the happiness by extending economic support to them’ he added and expressed the hope that this auspicious occasion would be the harbinger of peace, progress prosperity and happiness, which are the hallmarks of Jammu and Kashmir glorious pluralistic traditions.
SDM Akhnoor, Tehsildar & BDO Akhnoor, Executive Engineer PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control, sectoral officers, sarpanchs and panchs of the area were present on the occasion.
